Flooring in Chicago

Flooring businesses help you choose, supply and install floors for a home or office, and many also repair, sand, stain or refinish floors that are already in place. Common services include laminate and hardwood installation, engineered wood, floor sanding and staining, wood stair work and routine maintenance. When you call, ask whether the crew measures the space on site and gives a written estimate that lists materials, removal of the old floor and any subfloor repairs. Before you book, check that the business carries current insurance and can show examples of similar jobs. Sanding and refinishing are dusty, so schedule them when you can keep the area closed off for several days.
