Apex Plumbing & Sewer

Apex Plumbing & Sewer handles plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, sewer rodding and repair, water heaters, pumps and flood control for homes and commercial buildings. The company says it has worked everywhere from bungalows to Gold Coast condos, as well as two-to-six-flat buildings, storefronts and restaurants. Chuck and his licensed team have been in business since 1984.

The company offers free on-site estimates, with no trip charge for scheduled estimates during regular business hours. It also takes emergency calls for burst pipes, overflowing toilets and ceiling leaks, and says it can often send a plumber out the same day. The Chicago office and warehouse are on West Schubert Avenue, and reviewers mention prompt arrivals and clear upfront pricing.
