Youth Alternatives

Youth Alternatives is a family counseling center in Cheyenne that has served youth and families since 1971. Its services include family counseling, court services for juveniles, a volunteer mentoring program, a Foster Grandparent Program, group sessions for parents and individuals, and a community challenge course. The center also works with local schools on projects to help youth emotionally and academically.

Counselors can be reached by phone during business hours, and the office is open weekdays with slightly shorter hours on Friday. The center is a division of the City of Cheyenne at 1328 Talbot Court, and its work is supported by the Friends of Youth Alternatives, a nonprofit that funds the programs.
