Southern Hardwood & Floor

Southern Hardwood & Floor is a flooring supplier that works with floor contractors and sanding and refinishing pros, and also takes on homeowner projects. It stocks unfinished and prefinished hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, moldings and stair parts, along with stains, finishes, adhesives, underlayments, abrasives and installation sundries. Its supply side is built around refinishing crews who need materials on a regular basis.

Homeowners can request an in-home flooring estimate through the company's website. Contractors can have orders delivered to the jobsite, and an on-site mechanic runs a machine service shop. There are two locations, one in Charlottesville on Hunters Way and one in Richmond. If a product isn't on the shelf, the staff will try to track it down.
