Sanctuary Bistro

Sanctuary Bistro is a fine dining vegan bistro in Charlotte, serving plant-based dishes that are organic, local and gluten-free where possible. The menu covers brunch, lunch and dinner, with seasonal holiday dinners, cooking classes and benefit dinners on the calendar. Co-owner and executive chef Barry Horton previously cooked at the Ravens' Restaurant at the Stanford Inn in Mendocino, California, and the bistro was founded by Jennifer Jones Horton as a family business.

The bistro takes reservations for dinner and offers takeout and pickup catering. Larger parties need to book by email, and tables are held with a per-person fee that is refunded after the meal. The space is small, so every person in a party needs a reserved seat, including children, and strollers are not allowed. Sanctuary Bistro is at 6414 Rea Road in Charlotte's Suite C2, and it is closed Sunday through Tuesday.
