Poogan's Courtyard

Poogan's Courtyard is a private event venue in Charleston's French Quarter, sharing roots with Poogan's Porch, the restaurant founded in 1976. It hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, birthdays and reunions, with room for up to 80 seated guests or 125 for cocktail-style gatherings. The venue has exposed brick walls, original heart-of-pine flooring and an open-air courtyard, and its menus draw on Lowcountry cooking.

The venue includes tables, chairs, linens, tableware, Bluetooth speakers and a television, plus bartenders, service staff, an on-site event lead and a culinary team. Decor, entertainment such as a DJ or band, and lighting can be added. Bookings and planning can be handled online or through an on-site tour, and the venue is a few blocks from Poogan's Porch on Cumberland Street.
