Mills House

Mills House is a historic hotel where Queen and Meeting streets meet in Charleston, known as the pink landmark with the famous iron balconies. It has welcomed guests since 1853 and has been reimagined over the years while keeping its old-world charm. Inside, the Black Door Café serves all day, with breakfast sandwiches, lunch options, gelato, espresso drinks and a few sweets.

The café is a comfortable spot to get work done or take a break, with fast internet and a casual coffee bar. Hours run from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The hotel also offers guest rooms, a pool, and packages for weddings and bachelorette parties.
