Landforms Design Inc

Landforms Design is a Cedar Rapids landscaping company that handles landscape design, patio and hardscape installation, retaining walls, garden beds, grading and drainage, and landscape lighting. The company is known for its basketball and pickleball courts through its Backyard Sports Centers line, with more than 300 courts built across the country.

Projects start with a drone survey and a 3D rendering so homeowners can approve the design before any work begins. Free estimates are offered, and requests are answered within one business day. Landforms serves Cedar Rapids and nearby communities including Marion, Hiawatha, Iowa City, North Liberty, Solon, Robins, Ely and Mt. Vernon. The company is family-owned and led by Darin Chamberlin, who has been in business since 1984.
