Essence Salon

Essence Salon is a full-service hair salon in Cedar Rapids that opened in 2019, founded by Kindsay Elgin of Kintastic Hair. The salon puts a modern twist on classic styles, and its individual stylists work together with the goal of helping each client feel their best. Appointments can be booked online, and the salon also sells hair products. Evening hours on several weekdays make it easier to fit in a visit after work, while Saturday hours end early in the afternoon. The salon is on 42nd Street Northeast on the northeast side of Cedar Rapids, and it is closed on Sundays.
