Castro Valley Natural Grocery

Castro Valley Natural Grocery is a woman-owned, independently operated natural grocery stocking organic and local produce, specialty and special diet foods, clean supplements, chemical-free personal care products and eco-friendly home goods. The store screens its products against a set of standards that rules out chemical preservatives, synthetic additives, hydrogenated oils and non-organic refined white sugar, and it primarily sells certified organic goods.

The store runs a free customer rewards program called Goodies and posts new deals twice a month, with specials in its grocery, produce, wellness, front end and cheese departments. It is part of the East Bay Natural Grocers family and sits downtown in the Castro Valley Marketplace, within easy reach of Highway 580 and BART. The store also keeps four rooftop honey bee hives.
