Kingsborough Chimney Sweep Inc

Kingsborough Chimney Sweep has been cleaning and repairing chimneys since 1988. Fireplace cleaning and inspection are the core of the work, along with masonry repair, tuck pointing, relining and rebuilding, and correcting draft problems. The company also cleans air ducts and dryer vents and offers custom fireplace doors for wood, gas and electric fireplaces.

Appointments can be requested by phone or through an online form. A fireplace cleaning usually takes 45 minutes to an hour, and the crew lays down tarps and uses HEPA-filtered vacuums so soot and ash stay out of the living space. Homeowners are asked to be present so the crew can go over findings, and the crew takes digital photos of the chimney for any repairs they recommend. Service reaches a long list of towns across McHenry, Lake, Cook and DuPage counties, including Cary, Crystal Lake and Barrington.
