Shrout Wellness

Shrout Wellness is a wellness clinic run by husband and wife doctors Derek and Melissa Shrout, with roots in chiropractic care. Over time the practice has added acupuncture, massage therapy, functional medicine, IV drip therapy, and a range of skin care and body sculpting treatments such as ThermiSmooth, Emsculpt NEO and Emsella. The clinic has been in Carmel since 2006 and sees families, including many children.

Appointments are encouraged, though walk-ins are accepted when available. Chiropractic visits usually begin with a full consultation and follow-ups last about 15 minutes, while aesthetic and wellness treatments often start with a brief consultation. Urgent concerns during business hours can be phoned in, and after-hours questions can be emailed. The office accepts some major insurers, including Anthem Blue Cross and Cigna, and also offers cash pricing with no long-term contracts. It is in Suite 130 of the Hazel Dell Parkway building in Carmel.
