Campus Cafe

Campus Cafe is a family-owned deli in Carlsbad that has been serving made-to-order sandwiches since 2008. It is known around town as the Secret Deli, and its menu runs from custom sandwiches with a choice of meat, cheese and bread to hot melts, subs, vegetarian options, fresh salads and breakfast bagels, burritos and quesadillas. Daily specials are a regular draw, and a bag of chips and a fountain drink can be added to any sandwich for a small upcharge.

Most orders are placed by phone ahead of time, and the deli is open weekdays in the morning and early afternoon. Breakfast is served until 10:30 am. The deli sits in the courtyard of The Campus business park off La Place Court, with a koi pond and outdoor seating, and visitors can find it by the red umbrellas.
