Guardian Paws Service Dogs

Guardian Paws Service Dogs works with veterans and first responders who want a service dog to help them regain independence. Rather than simply placing a trained dog, the organization trains its clients to train their own dogs, and it builds personalized plans around each person's needs, with both short-term and long-term support.

The group serves the Treasure Valley, and training takes place in the Boise to Caldwell area, so prospective members need to be able to attend sessions in that region. Appointments are scheduled through the website. Guardian Paws also hosts an annual Show'n'Shine car show with proceeds staying in the valley to support local veterans and their dogs.
