Veterinarians in Burnsville

Veterinarians help keep pets healthy and treat them when they get sick or hurt. Many offer routine wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, dental and surgical care, and prescription food and medications for both dogs and cats. When you are choosing one, ask whether they see your type of pet and whether they offer after-hours emergency care or can refer you to a clinic that does. Call ahead to check that they are accepting new patients, and ask how far in advance wellness visits are usually booked so you can schedule before a problem starts. Visiting in person once can also help you see how the staff handles nervous animals.
