Craft beer brewed in downtown Buffalo since 201455 East Huron Street, Buffalo, NY

Big Ditch Brewing Company is a craft brewery in downtown Buffalo that makes a wide range of beers, from canned staples to limited releases and experimental batches. The brewery began in 2014 and has grown into the largest brewery in the city of Buffalo. Its name nods to the Erie Canal, which its founders see as a symbol of the city's rebuilding.
The tap room serves Big Ditch beers alongside food, and most of the brewing for the Buffalo location happens on Huron Street, where the company's original brewhouse makes specialty and experimental batches that are often poured only at the tap room. Canned beer is brewed on Oak Street, and a small pilot system in Lockport makes small-batch releases. Beer is sold in cans and on tap around Western New York and in parts of New York and Pennsylvania, and the Buffalo tap room sits in the Electric District near Ellicott and Huron Streets.
