Norton Stoneworks

Norton Stoneworks is a stonemason's business that builds dry stone walls, dry-laid stone construction, sculptural stonework, stone patios, walkways, fire pits and other natural stone features, often using Maine granite and fieldstone. The work includes both functional structures and public art pieces, and the owner, Joe Norton, has more than 20 years of stonework experience across Maine and New England. Clients often mention his steady, cheerful approach on the job.

The firm takes on a limited number of creative projects each year, so it is best to reach out early by email or text, which the business prefers, at the number listed. Joe Norton is based in Brunswick and works from Portland to Bar Harbor, and he is a certified dry-stone waller who also teaches the craft.
