Custom Plating Specialist is a chrome plating shop that works on cars, motorcycles, hot rods, antique boat parts and other vehicle pieces. The shop also does restoration work, aiming to bring each part back as close to its best possible condition. Parts are triple plated with copper, nickel and then chrome, and the shop says it can work on older pot metal and diecast pieces.

Most jobs take 16 to 20 weeks, and longer bumpers take about 20 weeks. Local customers can drop parts off at the shop in Brillion, and the shop also takes out-of-state parts by mail and attends car shows and swap meets around the country. Estimates are free, and the shop asks for photos of parts when you request a quote. Hours are weekdays, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
