The Columns NJ

The Columns is a seasonal restaurant, bar and nightclub in a Seashore Colonial Revival mansion, known for seafood such as fresh-steamed Maine lobster, lobster rolls and crab cakes, along with signature mini burgers and tavern-style dishes. It has been operating since 1883 and is a regular stop for live music at the Jersey Shore.

The restaurant, bar and nightclub are open May through September, with lunch, dinner and happy hour, and a separate Grill Room that runs on weekends. The building has an elevated wraparound porch with ocean views. The Columns also hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners and private parties, and it is at 601 North Ocean Avenue in Avon-by-the-Sea.
