Tabby & Fidos

Tabby & Fidos is a cat cafe in Bowling Green, Ohio, where up to 12 cats roam free in a lounge while guests sip drinks and relax. The cats come from local rescue partners Toledo Animal Rescue and Wood County Humane Society, and many are available for adoption. The cafe also sells a self-serve coffee bar, baked goods, locally made products, accessories, merchandise and treats for people and pets.

Visitors need to book ahead, since spots fill up fast, and the lounge has a rules and waiver that guests agree to before going in. Rules include being gentle, not waking sleeping cats and speaking softly. Free Wi-Fi and bar-top seating with laptop-friendly outlets make it workable for a quiet hour. The business is woman-owned, hosts private events and runs special events such as cat yoga, sound baths and crochet sessions.
