Yvonne's

Yvonne's is a New American restaurant and supper club set in the former Locke-Ober space, a landmark dining room that has been a restaurant since 1862. The menu is built for sharing, with items like crab beignets, lazy lobster dumplings, mediterranean octopus, and a prime rib chop, drawing on Far and Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, European and American flavors. Desserts include a baked Alaska and a Basque cheesecake.

The room is dim and glamorous, and the evening tends to move from dinner into drinks and lounging. Yvonne's takes reservations and hosts private group dinners, and gift cards are sold online. Groups of two or more can order the larger feasts. The restaurant is at 2 Winter Place in Boston, through a door at the back of a blow-dry bar.
