Liquid nitrogen ice cream with rotating tap flavors403 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA

New City Microcreamery makes ice cream in small batches, with a liquid nitrogen process that gives it a smooth, dense texture. The base steeps for 24 hours before it is frozen to order, and the flavor list ranges from classics like vanilla bourbon and cookie dough to rotating tap flavors such as tiramisu and baklava, plus a few vegan options. The company was founded in 2015 and was ranked best ice cream in Massachusetts by MassLive.
The Cambridge scoop shop is at 403 Massachusetts Avenue, one of several locations in the Boston area. Takeout, online ordering, gift cards, private events and custom ice cream cakes are available, and the shop also sells its flavors in some local grocery freezers.
