J. Miller Flats

J. Miller Flats is an apartment-hotel on Charles Street in Beacon Hill, converted from an 1860 townhouse that was once the Charles Street Inn. Its nine flats include four studios, four one-bedrooms and one three-bedroom duplex with two bathrooms. Every unit has a full kitchen, a smart TV and individually controlled heat and air conditioning, and linens, towels, coffee and bath products are provided, which suits both a short trip and an extended stay.

Guests check in on their own with keyless entry. A small elevator serves every floor and there is ramp access to the building, though none of the units are ADA-compliant. Laundry is shared in a common area, and on-site parking must be reserved when booking. Discounts are offered to local residents, groups and extended stays. The building is about half a kilometer from Logan Airport, and the Commons and Freedom Trail are within easy reach, with cafes, boutiques and restaurants close by.
