Basin Upfitting

Basin Upfitting builds and outfits commercial trucks and vans for fleets, installing service bodies, flatbed beds, dump bodies, gooseneck beds, enclosed service bodies, and specialty units such as mechanics trucks, mobile lube trucks, bucket trucks, brush trucks and the amphibious Fat Truck. The company also fabricates custom work and sells and installs plows and salt spreaders. It is one of the larger distributors of brands such as Knapheide, Royal, Auto Crane and Ranger Design.

The Boise shop is at 1000 W Amity Rd, and the company also runs a shop in Salt Lake City. Fleet buyers can request a quote through the website, and financing is available. Upfitted vehicles are shipped to customers across the West and beyond, and the company also offers monthly rental options for the Fat Truck.
