Jeanette Hunt Animal Shelter

Jeanette Hunt Animal Shelter, also known as the Blair Animal Shelter, cares for animals and helps place them in homes across Washington County, Nebraska. Its work centers on shelter care, adoption services and education that encourages responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals. The shelter also runs a pet food program for residents who need help feeding their animals.

Adoptions are a core part of the shelter's work, and it welcomes volunteers and donations to support the animals in its care. The shelter is in Blair, Nebraska. Stray animals found within Blair city limits after hours should be reported to city animal control rather than the shelter.
