The Olive Branch Mediterranean Cuisine

The Olive Branch Mediterranean Cuisine has served classic Mediterranean dishes alongside American favorites since it opened in February 2005. Rana Shunnarah and her family run the kitchen, and the menu leans on hummus plates, gyro sandwiches, grilled kabobs and falafel, with a signature taziki sauce and a few house specialties you can only get here.

The lunch specials, served with wild rice, hummus and pita, run from 11am to 3pm. Diners can eat on the outdoor patio when the weather is good or watch the cooking in the open-kitchen dining room. Beer and wine are served, and there is a kids menu. The restaurant sits just behind the Summit shopping center in Cahaba Heights and is closed on Sundays.
