City Bowls

City Bowls makes açaí, pitaya and spinach-based smoothie bowls topped with fresh fruit, granola and add-ins such as peanut butter, Nutella, whey protein, chia seeds and coconut flakes. The menu includes named bowls like the OG Bowl, the Powerhouse Bowl and the Hulk, along with the Hawaiian and Island Bowl. The business started as a single food truck in 2017 and opened its first storefront in the Vestavia Hills neighborhood in 2018.

It is a family-owned and operated business, and the owners are often on the truck or at the register themselves. Orders can be placed online for pickup at its locations, which include Vestavia Hills, Downtown Birmingham, Homewood, Trussville, Tuscaloosa, Brock's Gap and Huntsville.
