Applause Dancewear

Applause Dancewear is a family-owned dancewear shop that has been operating since 1981. The shop stocks pointe shoes, ballet, jazz, tap and character shoes, tights, leotards, skirts and tutus, along with gymnastics and fitness essentials and gift cards. Its shelves also carry Capezio, Energetiks and Bloch lines.

Staff are trained to fit pointe shoes, and there is at least one veteran fitter on every shift. Appointments are not needed for individuals, but groups of three or more should schedule one so the store can staff up. Group discounts and group fittings are available by phone or email. The shop is in downtown Homewood, across from Central Homewood Park, a few doors down from the Homewood Library.
