Macbeath Hardwood

Macbeath Hardwood sells domestic and imported hardwood lumber, plywood and sheet goods, and veneer at its Berkeley branch. Exotic species such as purpleheart are part of the stock, and the store also carries power tools, glue and adhesives, and finishes and topcoats for woodworkers.

The Berkeley location serves both retail and wholesale customers, and the company runs its own trucking and deliveries. Kiln drying and milling are done at the company's Edinburgh, Indiana facility rather than in Berkeley. Shoppers can also browse and order through the company's online partner store. The branch is at 930 Ashby Avenue, where the company was founded in 1954.
