Whitewater rafting and river tubing trips in Central Oregon30 p.m. MAILING ADDRESS Sun Country Tours 531 SW 13th Street, Bend, OR
Sun Country Tours offers whitewater rafting trips, including the Big Eddy Thriller and a two-day Umpqua adventure, along with full-day trips and river tubing. The company has been running river trips since 1978. Photo packages are available for guests who want a record of their day on the water.
Trips run during the summer season, and the company closes for the winter, so check before planning a visit. Groups can book trips, and tube rentals let visitors float the river at their own pace. In summer, the company also offers downhill mountain biking at Mt. Bachelor. The Bend office handles questions about upcoming trips and reservation changes by phone or email.
