Portland Gear

Portland Gear makes weatherproof bags and travel gear, led by the Cascade range of backpacks, weekenders, totes, carry-ons and a Glacier Cooler for food and drinks. The coated fabrics are made to handle wet weather, and the bags have wipe-clean surfaces, sealed zippers and wireframe openings. The line also includes cosmetic cases, packing cubes and pouches for keeping a trip organized, plus rain jackets, fleece and headwear.

Orders can be placed online, and shipping is free on orders over $150, though luggage is excluded. Cascade pieces are also sold in discounted bundles, and a two-year warranty covers material or workmanship defects. The company lists its locations on its website, and its address is in Bend, Oregon.
