Direct trade coffee roasted in Bend, OregonBend, OR

Backporch Coffee Roasters roasts single-origin and blend coffees in Bend, Oregon, on two Loring roasters. The company began in 2006 with a popcorn popper on the owner's back porch and now sources directly from farms in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Colombia and elsewhere. The Backporch Blend and Singletrack are roasted for espresso, and the cafes serve breakfast sandwiches, pastries, bagels and avocado toast made with bread from Haven Bakery.
There are five cafes in Central Oregon, including Downtown, Greenwood, Newport, Redmond and a drive-up location. The cafes don't take drink or food orders by phone, but large carafes for events can be called in 24 hours before pickup. Whole bean and ground coffee is roasted to order and shipped across the Pacific Northwest, usually Tuesday through Friday. The Downtown cafe also has space for meetings and events.
