Grappler's Lair

Grappler's Lair is a martial arts academy offering mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and muay thai for youth, teens and adults. It was the first academy in Central Texas to teach both jiu-jitsu and MMA, starting in 1999, and its programs are built for self-defense, sport competition or fitness.

The academy offers a free trial class, and prospective students can request one through the form on its website. Private lessons and seminars are also available. The academy also partners with the We Defy Foundation, which offers scholarships for local combat veterans with military-based disabilities. It is located at 120 N. Penelope St. in Belton.
