Smith & Prothero

Smith & Prothero provides physical therapy and occupational therapy, including lymphedema care. Its services cover balance and fall prevention, orthopaedic injuries, joint replacement rehabilitation, rehab after injury or surgery, and individualized programs for neurologic conditions such as MS, stroke and Parkinson's disease. Patients range from older adults with joint or back pain to athletes recovering from sports injuries.

The practice works one on one with each patient from the first visit through discharge, and the therapists tailor programs to each person's problems, needs and goals. It has two offices, one in Bel Air at 1131 Baltimore Pike and one in Havre de Grace. Weekday hours run through the afternoon, with shorter Tuesday and Friday schedules and Saturday and Sunday closed.
