Aveda Institute Maryland

Aveda Institute Maryland trains future stylists, barbers, estheticians and massage therapists in cosmetology, hairstyling, barbering, blow dry styling, esthetics and massage therapy. Students learn to cut, color and style hair with signature Aveda techniques and products, and the esthetics program draws on ayurvedic practices for skin care. The school also offers facials, massages, hair coloring and color retouches to the public.

Prospective students can request information, schedule a virtual tour or take some courses online, and admissions reps help applicants choose a program. Financial aid is available, and the school says it cannot guarantee a career but offers resources and career opportunities. Guest services are open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, so plan visits for those days.
