The Boardwalk of LBI

The Boardwalk of LBI is a beach shop on Long Beach Island that rents bicycles and beach gear, repairs bikes, and serves ice cream. Its rental lineup includes coaster bikes, tandem bikes, adult trikes, trail-a-bikes, child carriers, helmets, beach chairs and umbrellas, and the shop is known for its milkshakes stacked with cookies and candy and a signature item called the Blotation.

Bike rentals are sold by the hour, day, three days or week, and rentals can be pre-ordered by phone or online. During peak season bikes may not be available for short-term rentals, so calling ahead is advised. Hourly rentals stop at 5 PM and bikes must be locked up by 6 PM. The shop is at 2306 South Bay Avenue in Beach Haven.
