The Tarratine

The Tarratine is a fine dining restaurant and events center in historic downtown Bangor, open to the public Wednesday through Saturday for dinner. It has a full-service bar, several dining rooms, and a seasonal rooftop lounge, and it is often chosen for engagements, weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations. The restaurant also hosts private dinners, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, class reunions and corporate meetings.

The building dates to the late 1800s and is part of Bangor's Great Fire District. Dinner service runs from 4:30 to 9 PM, and reservations can be requested through the website. Guests can use complimentary valet parking on most nights, and coat check is offered during the winter months. The Tarratine Inn on French Street, a short walk away, offers private rooms for overnight guests.
