Maine Trail Dogs

Maine Trail Dogs is a play-based dog training business serving the Bangor area. Its private lessons cover household manners, leash walking, recall, off-leash reliability, crate training and behavior modification, with work on anxiety, fear, reactivity, guarding and aggression. Puppy lessons for dogs aged 8 weeks to 6 months focus on house manners, crate and potty training, and socialization.

Every program starts with a free 30-minute phone consultation, followed by a 1.5-hour in-person evaluation for $250 where the trainer recommends a custom program. In-home lessons are available across greater Bangor for a travel fee that depends on location. The business is based in Bangor and serves Bangor and surrounding towns.
