The Meteor

The Meteor is an all-day cafe on South Congress Avenue in Austin that also has an attached boutique bike shop. Espresso drinks and house-made baked goods run through the day, and the evening menu adds classic cocktails, craft beer, natural wine and sourdough pizza made with the cafe's signature crust.

The cafe has a patio for outdoor dining through the year, and the bike shop offers a carefully chosen selection of bikes, apparel and accessories with an emphasis on expert service for riders at every level. The bike shop keeps shorter hours and is closed on Sundays. Gift cards and online ordering are available, and the Austin location is one of four Meteor cafes, with the others in Bentonville, Dallas and Fayetteville.
