Southside Flying Pizza

Southside Flying Pizza is an independent pizza restaurant on South Lamar in Austin, known for hand-tossed pizza with a house-made crust, pizza rolls brushed with garlic butter, and oven-baked wings. Signature pies include the King of Pepperoni, the Southsider and the Greensider, and giant slices are cut from a quarter of a 16-inch pie. The kitchen makes its own dough on site.

Orders can be placed online or by phone at the shop, with delivery handled through third-party services for individual orders while the shop delivers its own catering orders. Catering comes with prepared pizza party packages sized by headcount. The shop has about 15 seats inside and 15 under shade outside, and it sits at Lamar Square just south of the Alamo Drafthouse, open late on weekdays until 8 PM.
