24 Diner is a comfort food spot on the corner of 6th Street and Lamar in Austin, known for all-day breakfast, crispy chicken and waffles, and juicy burgers. The menu also includes seasonal salads and hand-crafted cocktails. Chef Andrew Curren, a Texas native and valedictorian of his class at the Culinary Institute of America, draws on his travels for the menus.

The diner is open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday and late into the night on Wednesdays, which makes it handy for a late breakfast or a midnight bite. Weekday happy hour runs from 3 to 7 PM, and orders can be placed online or for delivery. The room is modeled on the classic diners of the 1950s and is built for meeting, eating and drinking.
