Magnolia Cafe

Magnolia Cafe is a family-owned cafe that opened on Lake Austin Boulevard in 1979 and moved to South Congress Avenue in 1988. For decades, several generations of Austin families have made memories in its booths, and the cafe still describes itself as a small, community-powered business.

Takeout orders are placed online during business hours, and curbside pickup is available. Guests with an old paper-style gift certificate can call the cafe to place an order. Dining in is available at all hours, with the outdoor patio open as staffing allows. The cafe sits just south of the river on South Congress, and it is open 24 hours Thursday through Sunday, closing at midnight Monday through Wednesday.
