Lin Asian Bar

Lin Asian Bar is a restaurant serving Asian home cooking and dim sum, with dishes such as crispy dumplings, Shanghai dumplings, Hawaii sesame chicken and Angus beef. The kitchen is led by Chef Ling, who trained in New York City and in Austin and studied dim sum under well-known chef William Wong. The menu blends traditional Chinese cooking with lighter, healthier ingredients, and the restaurant says a local farmer supplies most of its products.

Weekday hours are split between lunch and dinner, with a fuller dim sum menu served at Sunday brunch and dim sum brunch also offered on Saturday. Dinner runs late on Friday and Saturday. Reservations and online ordering are available, and the restaurant offers catering and gift cards. Lin is near downtown Austin on West 6th Street.
