Josephine House of Clarksville

Josephine House is a restaurant in a small blue cottage serving breakfast, lunch, brunch, happy hour and dinner, with a Monday night steak frites special. It is the sister restaurant to Jeffrey's, the Austin fine dining spot, and the menu includes snacks, a coffee and cocktail bar, and a bar and wine list that draws on Jeffrey's wine selection.

Reservations are recommended but not required, and they can be made by phone or through OpenTable. The restaurant has a cozy dining room, a small marble bar, shady patio nooks and a grassy front lawn. It sits on the corner of Waterston Avenue and West Lynn Street in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown Austin. The space can also be booked for full buyouts, including the wraparound patio, or for daytime private events upstairs in The Apartment.
