IREP Resale

IREP Resale is a thrift store on South Congress Avenue in Austin that sells donated, repurposed, and liquidated goods, including furniture, housewares, art, clothing, and vintage finds. Much of the stock comes from junk removal jobs, business liquidations, and estate sales, and the company says over 60 percent of what it hauls away is recycled, reused, or donated. It is a woman-owned business.

The shop has a loyalty program that awards points for every dollar spent, and a weekly rotation of discounts runs through the week, including Musician Mondays and Thrifty Thursdays. Clothes are $1 on the first and third Saturdays, and shoppers can swap a puzzle in good condition for one in the store. Junk removal can be booked through the website, and the shop also serves drinks.
