Idlewild Coffee

Idlewild Coffee runs a walk-up coffee and tea bar inside No-Comply Skate Shop in Austin. Pastries sit on the counter alongside the drinks, and tacos made fresh daily are served on weekends, when the bar also keeps its doors open a little later into the morning and afternoon.

The main bar is open seven days a week, with weekday hours running earlier than weekend hours. Orders are placed at the counter, so there is no need to book ahead. Idlewild also runs a separate weekday counter at the SXSW headquarters on Lavaca Street, offering coffee, tea and tacos along with a comfortable open workspace for sitting and working for a while. That location is closed on weekends.
