Güero's Taco Bar

Güero's Taco Bar serves interior Mexican food with a bit of Tex-Mex, including handmade corn tortillas, mole and tacos al pastor. The bar is known for hand-shaken margaritas made with fresh-squeezed lime juice and a wide range of Mexican beers, and it has long been a meeting spot for locals and visitors on South Congress.

The Oak Garden hosts live music and dancing on many evenings, and a full bar and appetizers are available there while you wait for a table. Events can be catered as large to-go orders, and gift cards and merchandise are sold. The restaurant has been in the same building since the late 1990s, and it is at 1412 South Congress Avenue in South Austin.
