Catfish Parlour Austin

Catfish Parlour Austin is a seafood restaurant known for large portions of U.S. farm-raised catfish, fried and served with house recipe coleslaw, pinto beans and homemade hush puppies. The menu also includes fried oysters, jumbo shrimp, chicken fried steak and a Big Cat plate, plus salads and grilled fish for lighter appetites.

Dave Kerbow founded the restaurant in 1973, and it is a family-owned business. This Austin location is the original of the two Catfish Parlour restaurants, the other being in Georgetown. Guests can dine in or carry out, order online, and find express lunches, children's plates, and gluten-sensitive and senior plates. The restaurant is on East Ben White Boulevard in South Austin.
