Cafe Malta

Cafe Malta is a casual bistro serving Mediterranean-inspired food made from scratch, drawing on the cooking of Italy, Spain, Morocco, Lebanon and southern France. The menu covers small plates like P.E.I. mussels, gnocchi and hummus, salads, bistro mains such as braised short rib and grilled pork chop, housemade pastas, and sandwiches like the croque madame and the Malta burger. The kitchen leans on fresh Texas ingredients, and the wine list is largely European with a few Texas bottles.

The restaurant serves lunch on weekdays and dinner every night, with the bar opening at 4 PM and a happy hour most evenings. Gift cards are available. It sits on West William Cannon Drive at the corner of Brodie Lane in Austin.
