Blue Apsara

Blue Apsara serves Cambodian street food built on family recipes. Grilled lemongrass beef sticks, fish amok steamed in coconut curry, and prahok k'tis, a savory coconut dip with fermented fish and minced pork, are among the signature dishes. The menu also includes papaya salad, slow-cooked chicken curry, and Khmer steak, and many dishes start with kroeung, a fragrant paste of lemongrass and aromatics.

The owners are a husband-and-wife team who prepare everything themselves without extra staff, so the kitchen can close without notice for illness, selling out, or equipment problems. Orders can be placed ahead online for pickup, or guests can eat at the outdoor or indoor seating. Parking is easy nearby. Lunch runs Wednesday through Sunday, with evening service on the same days, and the kitchen stays open later on Friday and Saturday.
